Pink Polypropylene Monofilament Non-Absorbable

Fluorofil® polypropylene sutures are fluorecent under ultraviolet light for easy visualization.

Characteristics
Advantages include: 
  • Increased visibility of suture at hairline
  • Excellent security with snug and flattened knots
  • Minimal memory and reduced fraying
  • Uniform diameter of the suture

Indications
Fluorofil® polypropylene suture are indicated for use as a non-absorbable suture in animals only.  Because the suture material fluoresces under ultra violet light, it is especially useful where easy visualization of the suture is needed. 

Tensile Strength
Fluorofil® polypropylene sutures are non-absorbable and no significant change in strength retention is known to occur in vivo.

Sterilization
Ethylene oxide.

Packaging
Fluorofil® polypropylene sutures are available in USP sizes 4-0 through 0 (metric 1.5-3.5) needled or on a cassette.
